Our OptiMix™ service solution helps manage lien resolution needs by integrating our expertise in lien negotiations and litigation with expert bill review (CompleteReview™), expert witness testimony (CompleteExpert™) and medical provider analysis into a proprietary software system application called CUBE™ (Company User Base Enterprise). By utilizing CUBE™, we are able to provide clients a management tool for their lien process. CUBE™ software system displays results in real time.

Our programs afford clients the flexibility in unbundled services. Clients may choose what services that best fit their needs. We provide affordable and efficient solutions that result in prompt claim closures with unparalleled savings.

Letter from the CEO

Leadership begins in humility—service for others devoid of self-interest that is centered on group achievement. I’m honored to be given the privilege to serve our customers, our partners, our employees and our community.

Our company was established in 2005 with the passion to revolutionize mitigation of healthcare expenses. The integration of bill review principles, lien defense best practices and medical provider analysis became the blueprint of our services. Our program is designed to adapt and evolve with industry needs. Using technology to scale our success, we created CUBE™—Company User Base Enterprise. A software system designed to manage and track in automation liens and litigation abuses and trends. Client portal access of CUBE™ allows clients to manage their lien program in tandem with us. Through automation and on-demand access, efficiency in operation improved—accelerating claim closures and relieving the negative pressures on the combined ratio in multiple facets…(ULAE, ALAE, MED).

In current events, scams in healthcare fraud and abuse targeted government and private healthcare insurers from small to large. According to Coalition Against Insurance Fraud, healthcare expenditures in the U.S. were projected to reach $3.2 trillion in 2015, or about $10,000 per person. (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, 2015—see second table, NHE Projections 2014 – 2024.) Financial losses from healthcare fraud amount to tens of billions of dollars annually. (National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association, 2015.)

Outraged in the escalation of medical abuse and fraud, we powered up HEAT™—the Healthcare Enforcement Action Team. We have strategically aligned with employers and insurance carriers along with government and law enforcement agencies to contain and prevent many of these cost drivers that now wreak havoc in our industry. The result is CUBE™ powered by HEAT™.

In 2016, our executive team perfected its leadership by adding Chief Operating Officer, Michael E. Lents. Michael has held executive positions for managed care companies, having many years of experience in claims, bill review, utilization review, MPN, lien defense and analytics. This growth extended our successful legacy of leadership of Chief Financial Officer Brian Stalker and General Manager Yollete Capalla, who became partner this year.
